We can remove the borders for a page as we do it for any other pictures or text box or drawing object. In Microsoft we have to use almost the same screen to remove borders for many different objects.
To remove the Page Border in Word 2007:
1)On the Page Layout tab, in the Page Background group, click Page Borders.
2) Make sure you are on the Page Border tab in the Borders and Shading dialog box.
3) Under Setting, click None.
