Share Workbook Among Users

Microsoft Excel gives us an option to share workbooks. We can add users who can work or edit a workbook. We can give them the level of editing capability. We can keep a track of changes made by other users.


To share workbook

1) Click on Tools and click on Share Workbook


 2) Then we will get share workbook dialog box. Check mark the box under the tab 'Editing'.


3) When we check mark the 'Allow changes by more than one users' the options under next tab Advanced  will get enabled.



Here we can make changes to the settings of tracking changes , updating changes, conflicting changes and personal view of the worksheet.
