Microsoft office provides a beautiful option where it recovers the data in any event of system crash or sudden power failure. The recovery option will run in the background automatically after a certain period of time. This feature is available in all the Office versions.

1) Click on Tools and Options
2) We will get a dialog box like this where we need to click on Save and check the box that has the option Save Auto Recovery Info Every
Reduce the time or increase it as per the system state. It will recover all Microsoft Office Documents for the time interval we set in the box.
