Orientation in Power point 2010

In Microsoft Power point, we have the slides by default in landscape orientation. We can change the orientation easily in a single click. It is available with all the versions of Power point and also in Word and Excel.

Steps to change the Orientation:

1) Click on Design Menu and click on Slide Orientation Under Page Layout Ribbon

We have two options under Slide Orientation:

  • Portrait: Aligns the page vertically.
  • Landscape: Aligns the page horizontally.

By default page will be set to landscape, we may need to change it to portrait if we want to see the slide vertically.

2) Click on Portrait to get the slide aligned vertically.

This feature is available by default with all the programs of Microsoft Office.
