In Microsoft Excel we may sometimes need to present the data with some formatting. Only some cells have to be formatted with a particular style and others with a different style. At that times we may use cell styles to highlight different cells with different styles.
Steps to apply styles to cells:
1) Select the data that has to be formatted with a particular format. Click on Cell Styles on Styles ribbon under Home Menu.
2) Select a particular style to apply it to the selected cells.
3) Select different cell range to apply a different cell style.
Similarly we can apply formatting to different cells in different ways using this cell style option in Excel 2010.
