Microsoft Office Color using Registry

Changing the default color of Microsoft office is possible using the registry as well. This gives the program a different look and the working environment more interesting.

You can edit the color of office 2007 version using the registry in the following way:

1) Type Regedit in the Run command window
2) Select the path
  • HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\12.0\Common

3) Right click on theme and click on change value

4) The values for the colors are
  • Blue: 1
  • Silver: 2
  • Black: 3
Note: Before you do the above, we advice to take registry backup.

Changing the number depending on the color will give us the required color to the Microsoft office suite.
