Office Suites

Office suite is the name given to the Microsoft office with regards to the types and upgrades of it that are being released.  They are being released based on requirements of the customers with features added and omitted in them.

In the latest version of Office that is office 14 or Office 2010 the following are the suites that are being released:

RE- Retail edition, VL- Volume Licensing, PI- Pre-Installed

Each of these are released in such a way that they are needed to be updated with service packs and Security Patches to safe guard the users and their licenses and also to avoid vulnerabilities.
