Convert SubDocument Into Master Document

We can convert a sub document into a part of master document in Microsoft Word 2003. This can be done with out any problem in Office 2003 and higher versions.

To convert a document into part of master document: 

1) On the View menu, click Outline.

2) If the sub-documents are collapsed, click Expand Subdocuments  on the Outlining toolbar.

3) Click the sub-document icon  for the subdocument you want to convert. Click Master Document View  on the Outlining toolbar if you cannot see the sub-document icon .

4) On the Outlining toolbar, click Remove Subdocument .
