In Microsoft Power point there are Four types of text that can be added to a Slide. These are text in different formatting options and tools.
Place Holder Text:
Boxes with dotted or hatch-marked borders that are part of most slide layouts are place holders. These boxes hold title and body text or objects such as charts, tables, and pictures. Any data can be there in these place holders.
Text In An Autoshape:
We insert different pictures, call outs, flowcharts where we enter data to specify a little information about relating to that image or instance or the algorithm respectively.
Text In A Text box:
A movable, re-sizable container for text or graphics. We use text boxes to position several blocks of text on a page or to give text a different orientation from other text in the document
Text objects that we create with ready-made effects to which we can apply additional formatting options.
