Add-ins are supplemental programs that will make the main program work fast by enhancing the features of it. They will enhance the performance of the program by enabling the add-ins to do the customized editing using power point.
An Add-in can be loaded only when it is added to the program for which we want it to be added to the program we want. If we want to load an Add-in for Power point we need to first add the Add-in and then we need to load the add-in as follows
1) Click the File tab.
2) Under PowerPoint, click Options.

3) In the PowerPoint Options dialog box, click Add-Ins.
4) In the Manage list, click PowerPoint Add-ins, and then click Go.

In the Available Add-Ins list, select the check box next to the add-in that you want to add, and then click Close. This is available from power point 2003 version. We can install add-ins from Office.com or from any third party website that offers the add-ins.
